Founder Sian’D’sain

Ketut Siandana is an architect, entrepreneur, and founder of the winning Architectural Firm Sian’D’Sain. He has achieved commercial recognition for his architectural achievements. However, he enters a new chapter in which architecture reveals new discoveries, profoundly and unexpectedly. A return to cultural service through architecture sets him on a new journey. In 1990, Ketut Siandana, an exclusive designer for Waka Resorts and several young architects joined to form one design called Kori d’Arch. After five years, Ketut Siandana formed a new design company called Sian’D’Sain, which still stands today. The success achieved by Sian’D’Sain led them to collaborate with national and international architects such as Peter MullerFredrick Taffln, Alan Gilbert, Ang Wee Teeck and Hidemi Inoue. This architect and entrepreneur, born in Denpasar, Bali, in 1964, graduated from the Department of Udayana Architecture in 1997.

Putu Gede Suyoga

Dr. I Putu Gede Suyoga, S.T., M.Si is a full-time lecturer at the Bali Institute of Design and Business, (IDB Bali) Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia. His writings on architecture in the socio-cultural paradigm have been published in national and international journals. Several of his books have been published and he received an award as the best Hindu cultural book writer from the Hindu Books and Readers Community Awards 2017. He actively conducts research focusing on traditional architecture in contemporary cultural practices.
